Overeem Port Cask Matured 60% Single Malt Whisky encompasses notes of choc-chip, orange marmalade and clove. The palate consists of spicy dried fruits such as raisins and dates and finishing off with hints of plum, sultanas and cocoa.
The Distillery’s Port Matured Whisky is aged in ex-port French-oak barrels. These hand-selected barrels have been cut down to 100 litre (quarter cask) capacity, which aids in producing an intense whisky of incredible character and flavour profile. All Overeem Whisky expressions are released exclusively as single casks. Every bottle is individually numbered to identify ‘Cask’ and ‘Bottle Number’, making every release unique.
