Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Quarter Cask is a uniquely distilled scotch whisky bringing back old traditions. The quarter cask gets its name from the distilling process it undergoes in order to reach the distinct flavours it contains when poured out of the bottle. Matured in two ex-bourbon casks made of American oak, transferred to a quarter cask and left to rest just off the Atlantic shore. This process comes from an old ‘once-defunct’ tradition. Notes of toffee and caramel on the nose with a long finish on the tongue alternating between smoky and sweet. Best served neat, with ice or mixed.
